mainstream lowdown flying model aircraft Lowdown
Non-scale
Engine: Enya .29
Wingspan; 50 in.
Weight: 4 lb.
Mainstream kit

This model is intended to be a low-wing sports aeroplane.

Structure: Fuselage is a sheet balsa box with stringered rear decking. Wings have foam cores covered in obechi. Originally designed to be flown on rudder and elevator alone, it improved tremendously after I fitted ailerons.

Flying characteristics: A gentle flyer, very stable, basic aerobatics only due to the small engine.

Current status: Dismantled after many years flying after it got too oil-soaked.
